Wildflowers

I absolutely LOVE wildflowers! I recently purchased this La Blanche stamp. These are silicone stamps (which I've never used before) and can have a LOT of detail. I tried stamping and coloring this stamp using a few different methods, but was never happy with it......until this time! Here's the card I made:
Here's how I did it:
I inked the stamp with Archival Ink and stamped onto white cardstock. The image was then colored with Distress Markers, using a water brush (with just a small amount of water since I didn't stamp on watercolor paper) to blend some of the colors. Then, I trimmed the image and rounded the corners. A French Script stamp (I think it's from Stampin' Up, but I'm not sure) with Frayed Burlap distress ink, then wiped the ink off the stamp in a few spots. I then stamped the script over the wildflower image. Once this was done, I distressed the edges of the wildflower piece with Frayed Burlap distress ink.

The embossed strip behind the wildflowers was made by swiping a piece of white cardstock with Frayed Burlap Distress Stain. Once it was dry, I ran it through an embossing folder.

The green background is actually a scrap piece of Christmas patterned paper, but the color was PERFECT!. I cut the scrap paper into a 4.5X6.5" piece and rounded the corners. Then, I adhered it to a 5X7" white cardstock base. The embossed strip was then adhered on top of the green piece, and then, the wildflower piece was adhered to the front of the card with foam tape. Finally, I rounded the corners of the white cardstock base.
