DEER IN WINTER

Recently, I learned a technique of adding dimension to snowdrifts (or sand dunes, mountain ranges, etc.) by using torn strips of paper as masks, and sponging the edges with ink. I LOVE the way it turned out on this card! I spritzed the card with Perfect Pearls mist to give it a little sparkle and give the appearance that snow was still falling! Now that I live in California, I definitely don't miss the cold of our many years living in Canada. But, I sure miss the beauty of the sparkling and serene snow-covered hillsides!
